When the Time for Healing is Now.

You've spent years being the one everyone else depends on. You've managed the anxiety, pushed through the burnout, and carried responsibilities that few people fully see. But now, something feels different. Perhaps a major life transition, a painful experience, or years of carrying everyone else have brought buried wounds to the surface, making it harder to move through grief, anxiety, or simply keep functioning the way you always have.

You've done everything you know to do. You understand your patterns, you've read the books, maybe you've even been to therapy before—and yet something still feels stuck. You've reached the point where you know something has to change. You're ready for something deeper.

A therapy intensive is designed for women who are ready to make meaningful progress without waiting months between weekly sessions to build momentum. By setting aside dedicated, uninterrupted time, we can focus on the experiences, beliefs, and nervous system patterns that have kept you feeling stuck—creating space for lasting healing and meaningful change.

Is a Therapy Intensive Right for You?

  • You're ready. to move beyond coping and experience deeper healing

  • You've tried weekly therapy but still feel stuck in familiar patterns

  • You want focused time and support to address anxiety, trauma, burnout, or grief

  • Your schedule makes weekly therapy difficult to maintain

  • You're preparing for—or recovering from—a significant life change

  • You're ready to invest dedicated time to your healing

Why Choose a Therapy Intensive?

Healing takes more than time—it also takes space.

Weekly therapy can be incredibly meaningful, but it is designed to fit within the rhythm of everyday life. Therapy intensives offer something different: dedicated, uninterrupted time to focus fully on your healing without having to pause just as the deeper work begins.

Instead of spending part of each session catching up on the week or setting difficult emotions aside until next time, an intensive allows us to stay with the work. Together, we'll gently explore the experiences, beliefs, and nervous system patterns that have kept you feeling stuck, creating the momentum needed for meaningful and lasting change.

Stepping away from your daily responsibilities also gives your mind and body permission to do something many high-achieving women rarely allow themselves to do: slow down. Therapy intensives create a protected space for deep healing—without the constant pull of work, caregiving, or the demands of everyday life.

Using EMDR alongside evidence-based, trauma-informed, and spiritually integrated approaches, I'll create a personalized intensive designed around your goals. My hope is that you leave with more than insight—you leave feeling lighter, more grounded, and better equipped to move forward with greater peace and confidence.

What Your Therapy Intensive Includes

A personalized experience designed around your goals, your nervous system, and the areas where you're ready to experience lasting change.

During your intensive, we will work together to:

  • Process the experiences that continue to feel emotionally charged or keep you feeling stuck.

  • Identify and shift the beliefs, patterns, and coping strategies that no longer serve you.

  • Calm an overwhelmed nervous system using EMDR and other evidence-based approaches.

  • Address perfectionism, over-functioning, and people-pleasing that leave you emotionally exhausted.

  • Reconnect with your values, your sense of self, and the life you want to create moving forward.

A Personalized Approach to Healing

No two therapy intensives are alike.

Your intensive is thoughtfully tailored to your goals and may include EMDR, somatic approaches, CBT, mindfulness, and spiritually integrated therapy. Together, we'll choose the approaches that best support your healing and help you move beyond the patterns keeping you stuck.

Depending on your goals, our work may include:

Every Intensive Includes:

Intensives include preparation and grounding and include attention to your pace, safety, and desire to process. They are fully customized and include:

  • A 90-minute consultation and planning session to clarify your goals and design your personalized intensive

  • A detailed intake questionnaire to guide our work together

  • A fully customized one-on-one therapy intensive

  • Personalized workbook, reflections, and resources to support your healing

  • A treatment plan incorporating EMDR, somatic therapy, CBT, mindfulness, and spiritually integrated care, as appropriate.

  • A thoughtfully prepared welcome basket to help you settle into the experience

  • A 90-minute follow-up session within 30 days to reinforce progress and support continued integration.

Every therapy intensive is intentionally paced. While we'll do meaningful, focused work together, there is no expectation that you push beyond what feels safe or manageable. Healing happens through collaboration, not pressure, and we'll move at a pace that honors both your goals and your nervous system.

Areas we can focus on…

  • Moving beyond anxiety instead of simply managing it

  • Healing from trauma without carrying it into the future

  • Letting go of perfectionism, over-functioning, and people-pleasing

  • Recovering from burnout and reconnecting with yourself

  • Navigating grief, loss, and major life transitions

  • Creating healthier boundaries and more fulfilling relationships

  • Rediscovering your values, purpose, and direction

  • Integrating Islamic psychology and spirituality into the healing process, if that is important to you

  • Creating sustainable practices that support lasting change long after your intensive is complete

As an EMDR-trained therapist who has also trained specifically in designing and facilitating therapy intensives, I bring a calm, grounded presence to our work together. I see therapy intensives as an opportunity to create a focused container of time and space in which to do transformative healing. I'll be with you every step of the way — offering warmth, support, and practical tools tailored specifically to you.

Welcome. I’m Sakina.
