Private Therapy Intensives for Anxiety, Burnout and Life Transitions

Private, Focused Therapy Intensives · EMDR and CBT · In-Person or Virtual

Are you ready to make bold changes, but your schedule and responsibilities feel never-ending?

Your life has been flowing smoothly for some time, but suddenly, holding it all together doesn’t feel possible. You have encountered a major change in your life that has made it harder to function, brought to the surface buried wounds, or made it difficult to navigate or overcome.

You have been the steady force others can rely on. Now it is clear you cannot continue in the same way as the past. Something has to give. It’s time to give to yourself and tend to the areas you have been ignoring.

A therapy intensive offers space and concentrated time to do in-depth exploration, processing and healing. You don’t have to wait to see changes over months of therapy.

When the time to make change is now

You are at an important juncture in your life, and you know there are things you need and want to address. You might be navigating burnout in your career or relationships, navigating identity change as a mother or struggling not to repeat negative parenting patterns. Your marriage might be suffering or on the brink of ending, or you are suddenly facing a health crisis you do not know how to navigate. You want to go beyond:

  • Feeling like you have to over-function to be seen, or feel like you are “enough”

  • Feeling burnt-out

  • Feeling like you have knowledge and tools, but can’t seem to break free from negative triggers, habits or cycles

  • Holding things together to keep the peace, but failing to meet your own needs

An intensive gives you the space and freedom outside of your daily life to focus on the deeper issues you have not been able to get to. It allows you to target a specific issue or area of your life you wish to see immediate change in without getting sidetracked by the weekly ups and downs that might interfere in weekly therapy sessions.

Why Choose a Therapy Intensive?

Weekly therapy can provide a sense of continuity, but make it difficult to get at core issues and keep a sense of momentum, especially when other issues and challenges come up in your day-to-day life.

Rather than taking the time to unpack memories or bring up core challenges and then have to pack them neatly away within a short time, intensives allow us to stay with the emotions or memories to reach a place of depth. This can offer insight, clarity and healing that could otherwise take months of regular therapy sessions.

Stepping away from your daily schedule and responsibilities to do a deeper dive provides uninterrupted time to give the work the attention you desire. Therapy Intensives allow clients to see accelerated results in a shorter period of time in the areas where they wish to experience clarity, relief or change.
